Drum Lesson 4: Fill In

Today finally learn the basic of a fill in... although I tried a little one the other time, but this is back to the basic teaching of how to do it.

Lesson started as per norm on the High Hat pattern... for the standard groove rock was not so bad... so is the "disco" one... but when it come to another pattern totally lost and trying to keep with the tempo of the music really just makes everything jumble up... he make me click with the music which more or less is no problem.. after a while i will be able to catch the beats.. but when it come to the actual playing on the drums my tempo just go on a shopping spree... running everywhere....

So in the end the fill in din't really get to do it... only noe the concept but got no chance to do it cos really can't catch the tune... and also having to travel "back and fro" of the crash and everything just make matter worst... =(

So really really have to buck up on the catching and maintaining of tempo....
