Drum Lesson 9: Rudiments for Fill In

Learn some rudiments for fill in today... generally the ratamacue and flam.....

well in the beginning my hands were quite retarded... think out of practice for 2 weeks le tats why.. so he taught me do some exercise.. one is the gun vs 2 thingy which you do switching your hands... the other is to draw circle in opposite directions for both hands... only manage to get the 2nd one right after he taught me the "trick" behind it... but my circle is still not really a well drawn one...

anyway after the exercise went into praciticing the ratamacue and flam on the drum pad.. took some time to catch it... especially the ratamacue... the way of holding the stick is slightly different from my normal way.. so have to get use to the new way and see how to change it when i need to do a proper note hitting... for flam the problem is that they are too far apart... have to remember to put them closer...

after practising that we try to do a simple fill in using the ratamacue and flam... he taught me to use my right hand but having practicing so hard with the left on the drumpad i decide to use the left and he let me do it since there is nothing exactly wrong about it.. hehehee....
