Drum Lesson 6: Hi Hat Patterns that drives me crazy

After my lesson was cancelled last week, lesson continues yesterday... woo hooo... i actually look forward to my drum lesson.. its a good sign... but i was very very tired after 1 week lack of sleep... and i litterally slack the whole week without any practicing.... u can't blame me.. i'm pms-ing and i'm very busy.. :P

anyway for the actual lessons learned more hi hat patterns and did a bit of recap for the fill in.. still i can't catch the music... still my tempo is off... arghhhhhhhhhh.... when will i be able to keep my tempo and listen to the music??? when? please tell me when? and he make me play for a song at tempo 90 for 16 beats??? i could barely catch up... :'( really really need to buck up on my tempo man....

tats pretty much for this lesson... only the last hi hat pattern i learn was really difficult... i almost go crazy.. having to hit the base drum but not the hi-hat until the 2nd beat... this is all crazy... i tend to hit both the hi-hat and the drum together for both the beats.. which is obviously wrong lah... after sometime i manage to catch the pattern but i think the tempo is totally off... *sadz*
